Abbie was 16 years old when Vision Forum Ministries hosted a treasure hunt to commemorate the Jamestown Quadricentennial, the 400th anniversary of the first successful English settlement in what became the United States of America. After a lot of hard work, a lot of cookies and a wonderful benefactor who helped them reach their goal by buying 2 dozen cookies at an exorbitant price, the family.
